Sad News To Report

Everyone, it is with a heavy heart and deep regret that we must announce that Surf City Moonshine’s new colt has passed on to the great pasture in the sky. Late last evening he had a massive onset of colic, which resulted in an irreparable twist in his small intestine. We have temporarily ceased streaming our live barn cam so that Surf can grieve in private. However, we will be monitoring her to make sure she is handling her great loss.

Tom, Michele & Family -

I am so sorry to hear about the loss. I know that with how close you monitor all of your horses and how well you care for them, that this must have come on suddenly and there was nothing that you could have done to prevent it.

I was so very sorry to hear of the loss at your barn , But I think God is a Horse Person as we all are and he knows a Good One when he sees one so he took your Little One to his Stable Of Gold in Heaven where he`ll never know any kind of pain and his Feilds will always be Green and Warm.
Please All of you give each other Big Hugs for me and to Surf as well , My Heart is with each and everyone of you at this time , and if you need to talk just call.

I am so sorry this had to happen...he sure was a beauty. You and your family are to be commended for all the hard work and dedication shown to him and to all the other horses. You are a good team!!! I also know you're proud, as you should be, of your children. You don't see many like that these days. Keep up the good work!! We REALLY enjoyed our visit with you guys.

We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers sent our way as they are needed. The wind has been let out of our sails, and are heart broken over the loss of Surf's colt as she is to.
